Going to do a shortened version of this post because we’re in the Bahamas and I will do a separate full version of all the looks I wore while on vacation.
This past week was a bit of a mess, to be honest, I got rocked by allergies and then a sinus infection… Jack has two (more) teeth coming in, and allergies got the best of all of us!! So little sleep…. but we survived!
LAST WEEK’S WIN: Honestly surviving. Being sick is never fun, but whew it’s horrible when you’re a mom? I don’t think I was mentally prepared. Like I just wanted to stay in bed and sleep and recover and not do anything and that’s, you know, completely not an option when a little creature depends on you!
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Have fun in the sun (safely, of course). Just cannot wait!! I know Jack won’t remember anything, but I really do like to convince myself that maybe trips and traveling will have a positive impact on him.
TUESDAY
Swim class with Jack in the morning, a dentist appointment (routine cleaning and I still hate it), and shooting content for upcoming campaigns.
WEDNESDAY
I had a big blog shoot that I had to do solo and somehow pulled off and then music class with Jack in the afternoon (the best!!!).
THURSDAY
The worst of my sinus infection/allergy days… Somehow managed to get what I needed to do done.

FRIDAY
Full workday at home and then a very, very low key night trying to get in as much sleep as possible before the trip.
SATURDAY
Spent all day packing, running errands, and cleaning up the house.

Have fun on vacation! My parents started traveling with me when I was Jack’s age and even though I don’t remember, the habit of traveling as I grew up made it so much more enjoyable and not scary! Hopefully it will have a positive impact on him… and you! 🙂
