I love baseball hats. I wear them almost every day in the summer. Even if it’s not part of my outfit, I almost always wear one while walking the dogs for sun protection. Also great for windy days at the beach and dirty hair days, obviously.
I have quite the collection of baseball hats throughout the years. A few weeks ago, I cleaned out my closet and pared down the collection. A bunch of them never really fit my head all that well (they tend to trap my ears) and almost all of them had some kind of logo. Even my favorite go-to hats had logos and I think I finally was just, like, over it. I wanted to find a few plain hats… that fit.
When I cleaned out that closet, I kind of forgot about this. I am sure there would have been a point in the near future when I went to reach into my hat bin only to remember I got rid of a bunch and still hadn’t hunted for the “perfect” one.
PLAIN BASEBALL HATS
Last week, I was returning an online order to GAP and found a wall of plain hats. This is so cheesy, but it was such a Cinderella moment. The hats fit perfectly. No logos. Muted, nice colors. These hats checked every box. Trust me when I say, you need one.
They come in a bunch of colors (including some subtle tie-dye). These are specifically designed for women’s heads. (Hallelujah.) And they have a nice metal, adjustable clasp in the back. These. Hats. Are. Perfect. Oh, and did I mention that they’re currently 40% off during the friends and family sale happening right now. 💃🏻
I bought the “porcelain white” and “gale green” since I figured those were the most versatile for what I typically wear.
