One thing I really miss about living in NYC is the fact that I can’t walk down the street to get any snack I’m craving. Within a block of my apartment, I had four different smoothie places to choose from. And I’d go to different ones for different smoothies. (I really miss this smoothie.) When Louisa sent me the draft for this recipe, I instantly started craving the smoothie…
As much as I love breakfast, I actually find it’s one of the more difficult meals of the day. It’s not that it’s complicated or anything, but my days start very, very early, at the glorious hour of 5am. So for me, it’s more of a question of what do I want to eat at 5am. That’s where I came up with my idea for my new smoothie video series that is kicking off today. For the next month, I’ll be posting a new smoothie recipe and accompanying video every week! Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to get these recipes first (you can also follow me on Snapchat @LivingLou where I share snapchat recipes every week). I have four completely new and unique smoothies that I can’t wait to share. Here’s the first video!
Smoothies are definitely one of my go-to weekday breakfasts, (I mean, as much as I would love to have baked apple french toast every day, no can do). I’ve also realized that oatmeal is another option – especially on cold mornings. I’ve been making my banana steel cut oats and apple cinnamon oatmeal pretty regularly. I find that both smoothies and oatmeal tend to keep me full until lunch.
So what’s the deal with this raspberry tofu smoothie? I know, it sounds kind of crazy, but trust me, it’s magical. You can’t taste the tofu at all, and the raspberries give it a nice flavor that is perfect for summer! You can also add a touch of honey if you want it a little sweeter. I’ve also opted to use almond milk here to keep it vegan, but you could use regular milk if you prefer.
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen raspberries
½ cup ice
¼ cup cubed silken tofu
1 ¼ cups unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp honey (optional)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Tofu! Very interesting. A good sign of a good morning recipe is a short list of directions. My woozy mind can't take very much else in the morning! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's

Taken on a much sunnier day ☀️🕶️ I used to think I could live somewhere gloomy and rainy, but… after this bout of clouds, downpours, and overall gloom, I’m realizing I wouldn’t last a week. #tuckernucking
I was so excited that @MyMyrtleBeach invited me to come play pickleball with them! I am obsessed with pickleball and had a blast playing at City Pickle, right here in NYC. We brushed up on the rules, practiced some dinking, and got to play a few rounds of the game– it was the perfect way to spend the day because everyone plays at the beach! #ad
I loved watching The Parent Trap growing up and still do to this day. It is one of my go-to comfort movies… There’s so much I love about it: the cast, the soundtrack, and (of course!) the wardrobe. We all have a little Annie James and a little Hallie Parker in us! I’ve always been drawn to Annie’s style, but love the carefree nature of Hallie’s. #parenttrap @nmeyers #tuckernucking
The British brand @me_andem is now available in the US! If you are on the hunt for beautifully tailored, quiet luxury pieces for your wardrobe, you have to take a peek. The clothing is the highest quality and feels designer, but since they are direct to consumer, they don’t have the typical designer markup. The brand follows what they call “The Three Fs”: flattering and functional, with wear-forever appeal with each piece they create checking all three boxes! #meandem Shop my head to toe look with @shop.ltk! https://liketk.it/4j8Hg #liketkit

Wearing vs styling an outfit with a bump! I feel so much better when I’m wearing something cute (dress well to feel well maybe?)… I’ve been fighting the temptation to wear comfy clothes while pregnant though! So far I have found blazers and cardigans an easy way to dress up my second trimester bump, especially as we enter fall.
This looks so good!! Definitely going to try!! I have gotten into morning smoothies lately!!!
