Working Smarter

This month marks four years since I quit my job. Four years. When I put in my notice, I thought I’d hate working for myself. I was desperate for some time off so I thought I’d just do the blog for three months and interview for jobs starting in January. Once I had free time during…

Apple Picking at Fishkill Farms

Every September, I start looking forward to apple picking. I don’t even know why it makes me so happy, but it does.

This year, I went with Carter to take some fun photos and to bring some apples home, of course. I actually had so many apples that I had bags to give away to my friends! (Don’t worry, I saved quite a few for myself!)

On My Radar

I don’t have a ton to report to you this week. It was mostly boring days sitting in front of my computer, working, and getting organized for the kick off of the “busy” season for blogging. A couple of highlights though: – My workout classes have been going SO well. I felt like I was improving…

Two Books I LOVED

It’s been ages since I felt like I read a book that really spoke to me. This year I have given a few books the elusive five-star rating on my Goodreads account. It’s so hard to rate books on there, to be honest, and I wish I could rate specific elements of the book differently. (Oh,…
