Brown!
Brown isn’t really the prettiest color per say, but it’s the perfect color to accessorize with. Little brown shoes and brown bags and brown jackets… don’t they just scream “going back to school” and “fall fashion”!?
I do have dresses and shirts that are brown, but I just love a good brown accessory. Here are the brown accessories I just can’t get enough of right now:

I love brown as well! It definitely has a fall feeling to it– every time I wear brown I just want to jump in a pile of leaves!

I'm totally with you. I think brown works really well for accessories because it's just a pop of the perfect fall colour rather than being overwhelming/dull in large quantities. I do like light brown pants on occasion though.

Pink is just one of those classic prep colors. There’s no better time to utilize the color pink than the summertime. Go through your closet and pull out all the pinks! I have a vast collection of pink things. Pink bangles, pink shoes, pink shorts, pink t-shirts, pink dresses…. but sometimes I don’t think to wear them.
One of my favorite things about pink is that a ton of colors go great with it. Navy is such a great option. (Remember this pink + navy post?) Lime green (of course) and even purple can be good combinations. And, of course, you can’t go wrong with denim or plain old white!

I love pink! I'll have to try wearing it with purple sometime because I think that's a pretty color combination, but I just never thought of it before!

I’m starting a new series on here! Shades of… (haha, not like the book). The first one is Shades of Mint.
I needed to get a new outfit for something and spent forty minutes wandering around J. Crew trying to figure out what to wear. Just as I was about to give up, I spotted a sweater folded up on the bottom shelf. Oh, it was just so perfect.
I layered the sweater over a white button up and wore my trusty pair of Minnie pants.

Sperry | Soludos | Jeans
The color goes well with so many fun shades, and even just a simple white. I think this is a great color to take us into the early summer. It’s bright, beachy, but not too over the top.
How cute is the mint + coral iPad case I got from Nico & LaLa??? LOVE IT. (Also featured, some goodies from Bridier Baubles! Remember to enter the giveaway!)
