Splash Into Summer

A few weeks ago I started to pull out my favorite Lilly dresses. In Florida, you can get away wearing Lilly pretty much all year round. But up here, you kind of have to wait for the summer months. Memorial Day is definitely the unofficial start of the summer and so it’s the best time to pull out your Lillys… or to pick up a couple of new ones for the season.

I had to share this promotion that Lilly Pulitzer is running starting today. Their gifts with purchases are ALWAYS amazing, but this time might be their best. How cute is that beach tent?!?!

I’m rounding up some of my favorite pieces available right now below. If you have a little girl, I’m loving this printed sunguard. The maxi dresses are super comfortable and a great thing to pack for summer beach trips (or just to throw on when you want to look cute with minimal effort). If you’re all set on clothing but want something new for the summer, the circle towels are very trendy right now! As for my favorite dresses, it’s a toss up between this fit and flare and this old school shift.

Lily continues to rock summer! This is where I would typically mention the items I want/need, but I think I just need to go for the whole lot.

I just bought that short-sleeve navy blue dress pictured about a week ago, and I love it! It’s more casual than most of their dresses and it’s soooooo comfortable – I haven’t bought anything from Lilly in years and this purchase just reconfirmed my love of their clothes.

I kind of feel like Lilly isn’t really relevant anymore. Does anyone else feel this way?

I don’t know that Lilly has ever been relevant in Los Angeles (where I live), but I continue to wear it because it makes me feel good. I have been rather disappointed with the prints the last few years, though.
