With our farmer’s market in full swing and local farms selling their summer-best berries and produce, I have been in the mood for baking. There is something about having a great, fresh dessert after grilling out in the backyard that just tastes extra summery. Cobblers, light cakes, s’mores…. I love them all.
Just putting together this post has me drooling. I don’t even know where I’d want to start. (Well, as much as I love berries, I think I’d start with the s’mores skillet brownie…. I want that right now.)

Okay so I’ve made the lemon blueberry version of that lemon blackberry cake twice now. It’s a showstopper (and not too challenging to make/construct). Everyone was raving over it, to the point where I felt a little embarrassed! Definitely recommend, and I’m sure the blackberry version is delicious too if that’s your fruit preference. Happy baking!
