TARTAN LOVE

‘Tis the season for tartan—my favorite season! All of the recent holiday new arrivals inspired me to share a round-up of some of the best festive pieces this year. I’ve already started taking out my tartan printed clothing and home decor to make this holiday season special. There’s such a short window where tartan feels seasonally appropriate that I always try to take full advantage of it. Then, once Christmas hits, I typically retire most of tartans until the following season. This year I have my eye on a few fun pieces.

RED DRESS // PUFFER VEST // BOW HEELS // COAT // BLAZER // PJ SET // LONG SLEEVE DRESS // HEADBAND // BUTTON UP SHIRT // BOW FLATS // PUFF SLEEVE TOP // BUCKLE BLOCK HEELS // NAVY AND GREEN BOW DRESS // RED SWEATER

This pair of bow tartan heels under $100 are so cute. I think they would be perfect for a holiday party, or you could even wear them to the office with a simple black outfit.

If you prefer a less traditional tartan, I love the colors of J.Crew’s latest pattern (I feel like you could even get away with wearing it past the holidays)! This blue and red wool topcoat is stunning and would be a fun statement piece to add to your closet for the winter, along with these double strap pumps.

For a casual outfit, I love adding a pop of red as an accent. This under $20 tartan headband is an easy way to make any outfit feel a smidge more festive. My absolute favorite? This navy and green wool dress. Tartan, a ruffle neck, and tie-back bow—What’s not to love!

I may already have an extensive pajama collection, but I still can’t resist adding new holiday sets each year! This is one of my favorite pajama styles and would make a wonderful gift for the women in your family so you can all match on Christmas morning.

Carly in your experience does Tuckernuck typically do a good Black Friday sale? Or really just their main sale of the year?
