That’s a Wrap

This is such a sweet little wrap dress. I have always been a fan of wrap dresses, particularly for my figure. With a larger chest, I love that I can adjust the dress to fit my body without having to run to a tailor.

The length is perfect and makes this dress appropriate for all kinds of occasions– including work. I love a versatile dress!

J. McLaughlin Wicker Bag

I was very close to photographing the dress with flats (which is how I’ve mostly been wearing it) but at the last minute I pulled out an old favorite. Do you guys remember the Etta pumps from J. Crew???? I was obsessed. I don’t wear them nearly as much as I did back in 2012/2013, but I haven’t had the heart to part with them. They’re still one of the most comfortable heels I own. You can still score a pair on eBay.

And Banana Republic has a pretty similar tan and black pair with a slightly pointier toe. (A bit like a Chanel look-alike actually.)

To spring up the look a bit, I decided to accessorize with my wicker bag. This little guy is just the best. So happy to see that it’s back this year too.

That dress is darling, you always look to great in GMG dresses! I’m so happy that it’s wicker bag season again. I’ve pulled mine out of the back of my closet but haven’t had a chance to actually use it yet. It’s such a fun style!

Dress looks amazing on you- such a classic! I started reading your blog in 2013 and one of my favorite posts is when you styled a lily dress for work and I’m pretty sure you wore those shoes. Is it weird it brought back so many of my own memories seeing you wear them again?
