UTILITY DRESS TWO WAYS

I’ve been a fan of the utility trend lately, and as much as I want to get behind a jumpsuit, it just isn’t me. That said, one take on the trend I can easily get behind is a utility dress, and this one felt like the perfect match. It is great for styling with layers during the transitional fall weather, and whether you opt for knee-high boots or sneakers, it’s one of those items you can’t style wrong.

With a toddler on the move, I’m leaning more towards comfortable clothes that are cute and practical! This dress has four pockets and functional front buttons if you’re looking for nursing-friendly options. All around, this dress is a major winner for me.

I also had to note that it’s part of the Friend’s and Family Sale and 25% off through Sunday, 10/9!Utility Dress // Cardigan Sweater // White Sneaker // Woven Tote // Bow // Pearl Earrings

This outfit is all about comfort and would be a great everyday uniform. It’s simple, casual, and looks like you put in a lot more effort getting ready than you actually did, ha! Pair a utility dress with white sneakers and your favorite cozy cardigan sweater. Pearl earrings always make me feel a little more put together, and a ponytail with a bow is my life hack for saving time getting ready and styling my hair in between washes.

Utility Dress // Blazer // Suede Tote // Knee-High Boots // Gold Hoops

You can also dress up a utility dress and make it more work-appropriate by layering it with a blazer of your choice. This herringbone blazer is under $100 and is a great fall staple piece. I love the look of knee-high boots with shorter dresses in the fall, but this outfit would be equally cute with a pair of Mary Jane flats. Add a suede tote and simple gold hoops, and you’re good to go.
