Another week of outfits! It doesn’t feel like it’s been enough time to have another one of these posts, but I checked my calendar twice and yes it’s Tuesday. (Time is just flying by…)
LAST WEEK’S WIN: Elsa and I had so much fun in Newport together. We roadtripped together and it was just nice to have a few uninterrupted hours each way to chat and catch up. The conference was also a lot of fun, but it was very exhausting. I’m not used to socializing that much. I went to be drained (and happy) every night!
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Not really a goal, but I’m crossing my fingers for an easy couple of travel days. Jack and I are meeting my mom in Atlanta for a book signing (more information in this post!). We’re flying there on Thursday and coming right back on Friday. It’s kind of a lot for two days with a baby… so hoping it all goes smoothly!
TUESDAY
I spent most of the day just bopping around the hotel. Unfortunately it was freezing and way too cold to take Jack outside. My plan had been to push him around Newport and explore, but the weather had other plans. I did a “keynote” presentation Tuesday afternoon to talk about my book– it was so great to connect with so many people.
WEDNESDAY
I did a book signing in the morning at the conference and then Elsa had one more presentation. We rushed home from there. Kept things casual for the long drive. Somehow we got very lucky and didn’t have a minute of traffic!
THURSDAY
One of the first (maybe the first???) event in NYC for me since the beginning of the pandemic. Kate Spade had this entire townhouse decorated to celebrate the launch of their new coffee table book Celebrate That! They sent me the outfit to wear and I loved the pop of yellow.

FRIDAY
We had a makeup gymnastics class with Jack. Otherwise it was a pretty low key day for us.
SATURDAY
A very easy-going Saturday. My favorite kind of weekend days. And it was also a gorgeous spring day, which made it that much better. I went to Target and then spent the afternoon outside on the grass with Jack between naps!
SUNDAY
We had no plans on Sunday and I lounged around pretty much all day. Mike’s brother came over to hang out for a while and then we just enjoyed a lazy rainy day.
Georgetown sweatshirt
MONDAY
Another gymnastics class with Jack (it’s so cute!) and then I worked on sponsored content for the rest of the afternoon. It was a good mix of “momming” and working.
Sneakers (on sale!)
Sorry, if this is a stupid question, but who is Elsa? Newish reader here!!

Would you say Tretorns are true to size? I have read some suggestions to go a whole size down.
I wear my regular size!
I wear a size 8 normally, but I wish I had bought 7.5 in Tretorns. My 8s are a bit too big.
When designers (like Kate Spade) send you clothes, do you have to return them after the event? Random Kate Spade deliveries sounds like heaven. 🙂
Yes! They gift it- so nice!
Love the white agolde jeans on you! Have you come across a similar pair at a lower price point? Love following you, Mike and Jack! Thank you for sharing your life and family with us.
I love hearing about your book tour! So glad it is going well!
