This past week was an absolute blur. We had a ton of bad weather, which somehow made the week feel extra fast and super slow at the same time. I managed to squeeze in some fun though! Always a good thing.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: I had put off a ton of, like, life stuff and I finally got through everything. It’s nothing too exciting, but it always feels good to get random appointments checked off. Usually, I’d space everything out so I’m not doing everything in one week, BUT I made it all happen in between work.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Survive? I’m only kidding. It’s not even like my work schedule is that bad and I have a ton of really exciting things to look forward to! I’m just feeling a little…. run down. Spending a week with my family was amazing– I just think it’s taking me a little bit to get back up to speed. I’m also trying to be better about saying no to certain things, setting boundaries for work/personal life, and giving my body rest when I need it most.
WEEK OF OUTFITS 5.11.21
TUESDAY
I spent the day hitting the ground running. My flight gone in incredibly late on Monday night and I had a lot to catch up on after being away from my desk. As much as I love getting away, I also love getting back into my usual routine too.
WEDNESDAY
We had a ton of rain on Wednesday. I holed myself up in the local bagel store just to get some uninterrupted computer time in before volunteering that evening.

THURSDAY
A normal day of work…. but the best part of the day was going into Hoboken for dinner with my sister in law. It was so nice to catch up (not sure how we let so much time pass!) and the dinner was great. I did swap the blue jeans for white and added a little pair of heels.
FRIDAY
I met up with a friend I haven’t seen in a while for morning coffee and then got back to work. Mike and I met up with his sisters and goddaughter for an early dinner, followed by ice cream. And then we ended up in our backyard for a few hours. Basically until we were too cold after the sun set to be outside. It felt like a true taste of the summer ahead.

SATURDAY
I had a SLUG DAY on Saturday. I literally did *nothing* and loved every minute of it. It was so dreary and rainy and it felt great to sit on the couch guilt free. Mike’s brother came over and we had burgers and hung out in such a nice low-key way.
SUNDAY
Mike made everyone pancakes in the morning and then we headed over to his sister’s house for brunch. We had such a nice Mother’s Day! Super relaxed and cozy with the rain.
MONDAY
I had my ideal Monday of getting properly set up for the week. I had a few campaigns and photos I needed to take care of and then it was just cruising through emails, figuring out what I needed to do when for the remainder of the week, and otherwise just boring work stuff.
Bonitos outfits, saludos:D
A lot of cute outfits, you look great!
Going back to regular life after a trip or an event you looked forward to always takes some energy… best to book something new asap!
I love the dress you wore for Mother’s Day! So pretty!!!!

Slug days are so helpful to have! Especially after feeling so swamped! Love this week’s looks! 🙂
Carly.m, thank you for these posts. Aside from loving a peek into your week and outfits. THANK YOU for making it so easy to find the links to your outfits. It’s so frustrating the way other influencers do it. If I see something I like that you have on, I know it will eventually link here!
I’m so happy you find it helpful!
I love that yellow rain jacket!
