WEEK OF OUTFITS 5.4.21

I have just had the best week down with my family in Florida. It’s been so long since my last trip down and it felt great to see everyone. I also usually come down and feel like we’re a bit go-go-go. And because we’re still playing things safe, it was a much slower pace. I spent more time out by the pool and in the pool than I think I ever, at least since I was a kid– usually too hot (if I come in the summer) or too cold (when I come down for holidays).

As far as outfits go…. I didn’t pack that well. I underestimated how uncomfortable I would feel in the heat while pregnant and pretty much spent the week in my Hill House nap dresses (I. love. them) and bathing suits. Quite a different outfit roundup this week!

TUESDAY

Had to start the day extra early to shoot some content for a sponsored post. My mom served as “on site photographer” all week because I had more work pop up that I couldn’t put off. But balanced the work with plenty of relaxation too!

WEDNESDAY

The boys went golfing (Mike was able to take time off work for a few days too!), and my mom and I went out for breakfast and then ran some errands. Then we met up with them after they finished golf for lunch and everyone ended up back out by the pool for the rest of the afternoon. The best part of the day was getting together with our friends Ashley and Ryan for a dinner double date! We haven’t seen them in forever and it was so, so, so nice to meet up again!

THURSDAY

Really did a whole lot of nothing on Thursday. Read by the pool. Had lunch at home. Took Mike to the airport. And then I had a few hours of work to finish up, which I did on the couch!

I started the morning with a GLORIOUS pre-natal massage and then parked myself by the pool.

On Saturday morning, I got together with one of my closest friends from high school! She moved back to Tampa recently with her husband and daughter so we went to a local park for a little playdate. The best part is that we are both expecting baby boys this August! I love old friends with whom you can pick up right where you left off like zero time has passed!!!

Meesh and I went out for breakfast again and then went on a few errands… and, you guessed it, spent the afternoon in the pool! We also went out for dinner with grandma which is always a treat.

Soaked up the last day with my mom! I worked in the morning, ran errands with her, and then had lunch with my aunt and one of my mom’s best friends. And then got ready to fly home 😢 (I did not wear this dress for the flight, ha!)
