Here we are! Back again with another weekly outfit post. I can’t tell you how much it thrills me that this is becoming the most popular post of the week for the blog. It’s my favorite too and it has re-inspired me for how I feel about my own closet/clothes. It’s clear that I have favorites, like my Madewell jeans (now 30% off), J. Crew fleece (now 50% off), and my Tretorn sneakers.
WEEK OF OUTFITS 11.24.20
TUESDAY
I spent all of Tuesday prepping for campaigns and shoots. I was a bit like a chicken with my head cut off if I’m being honest. This year I am more organized and on top of everything more than I ever have been, but I have a pretty large, long-term project that also popped into my life. It feels like no matter how much I organize or plan, I’m always a little bit behind.

WEDNESDAY
I’m trying to think about what I did Wednesday, but I think it was just a normal work from home day. I had to take two weeks off of volunteering leading up to Thanksgiving just to be extra safe, so my usual Wednesday routine was thrown off a bit.

THURSDAY
Almost all of Thursday was dedicated to a big shoot I had outdoors with Elsa… I can’t wait to show you how it turned out. (I am *obsessed*!) It involved a lot of set up (props, cleaning, and steaming clothes), but worth every second in the end. Once we were done, I was drained and ready for comfy clothes– I worked from the couch for the rest of the day.

Fleece Jacket (50% Off with EARLY)

FRIDAY
I worked from home doing mostly all computer work on Friday. I think I spent the better half of the afternoon actually working form my couch! After a long week I closed my laptop promptly at 5pm and called it a day.
Jeans (30% Off)
SATURDAY
I got all dressed up for pretty much nothing. I literally had two errands to run but knew if I didn’t put on something cute, I’d have an unproductive day. This outfit is kind of my “dream fall” vibe. I am going to do a whole post about these boots– but just trust me ahead of time… you need them.

SUNDAY
It was a drizzly, grey Sunday. Mike and I went over to our sister/brother-in-laws house for an early morning hang out. We played shuffleboard and hung out with our nieces (at one point everyone was around the table playing with play-doh, adults included). Then we came home and vegged out. I brought my laptop to bed with me and sat there for hours working and then reading/needlepointing. So lazy but necessary.
MONDAY
A fresh start Monday, checking things off my list. Kind of a 50/50 split on campaigns and desk work.
Sweater (c/o)
Jeans (30% Off)
Headband (50% Off with EARLY)
Just here to say that I hope the “pretty large, long-term project” is what I’ve been thinking it is. 😏
I love your outfit for Saturday and the red top for Monday! Both were super cute!!!

I love your “week of outfits” posts! The first and last outfits are my favorite, and I love the festive red sweater and headband in the last look.
Okay, I’ll be that obnoxious person to ask about the Carlotta boots sizing. I’ve not ordered from Madewell before so don’t know how they fit. I’m typically an 8 or 8.5 in most shoes – do you think these run on the larger or smaller size? I usually need an 8.5 in JCrew shoes, but not sure if Madewell compares. I have narrow calves so sometimes default to the smaller size to save room there.
Thoughts?! Thanks!
I think they fit exactly true to size. I get nervous with boots, but ordered my “true” size of a 7 and they fit perfectly. I would go with the 8.5 if that’s what you normally get from J. Crew!
I do love these posts, and I love that you show from one day you got all dressed up and then the next its leggings and a warm coat, which is honestly how 90% of us function. Love it! Inspires me to really utilize my closet.
Love everything about your style…so put together without being fussy or overdone. You mentioned shuffle board! I played for the first time at this trendy hipster place out in Palm Springs when I was there on a work trip in January. I’m obsessed!!
I don’t know how to say this without sharing too much. I struggle with anxiety and depression, and posts like these inspire me to get dressed. Unlike other fashion bloggers, I find your outfit posts relatable and easy to recreate. Thank you for this!
Eeeeeeeek!! I’m so excited for you and your long term project if it is what I’m thinking!!
Love these posts! I find myself referring back to your previous weekly outfit posts also for some outfit inspo! Would you consider adding a Outfits tab for easy access to all these posts?
Blog rebrand!!! It looks great, Carly!
Congratulations on the blog re-design!! It looks so good and I am so excited for this next chapter!
