Cold Weather

WINTER COATS AND BOOTS

January isn’t typically a big shopping month for me. It’s cold outside, there are fewer places to go, and I usually end up wearing a lot of cozies. But one practical thing I will occasionally shop for during the winter lull is outerwear! Sometimes the best mood booster to get out of your winter blues is getting yourself a cute new coat or pair of cozy boots to make the cold weather a little more enjoyable.

Camel City Coat (Under $120) // Quilted Barbour Coat // Peacoat (Under $85) // Quilted Coat // Grey Cocoon Coat // Hunter Rain Boots // Shearling Bean Boots // Ugg Classic Mini // Sperry Boots // Sorel Boots // Sherpa Puffer // Navy Peacoat // Double Breasted Coat (Under $85) // Long Puffer Coat // Patagonia Hooded Jacket

Uggs have been a part of my winter essentials for ages! They’re so warm and comfortable – I can’t recommend them enough. I also love my trusty Bean Boots, they’re perfect for winter weather or when it’s wet outside, and I need to run out the door.

On days when there’s a lot of snow outside, these are my favorite boots. They are so warm and great for trudging through the snow or dealing with slippery surfaces. (I would order the Joan of Arctic boots 1/2 size up!)

Patagonia is one of my most loved outerwear brands. The quality is incredible, and I like that all of their products have a lifetime warranty. I find myself wearing this jacket throughout winter and into spring, too. And the best part is how packable it is.

In addition to puffer coats, it’s worth having a good wool coat in your closet. Of course, you can’t go wrong with the Cocoon Coat – I think it has the chicest shape and has plenty of room to layer cozy sweaters underneath. But this City Coat is super similar and under $120!

I’m living vicariously through you this year and wishing it were cold enough in the south to justify buying one of these coats! The red Cocoon Coat is gorgeous!
