You know what’s great about being in Florida in November? Wearing an off the shoulder top outside and being hot. (I regretted the black pants because I was too warm actually!) I originally got the top for the meet and greet I co-hosted while in Tampa over Thanksgiving and know I’ll get more use out of it throughout the year; it’s always nice to find something that will work in winter (with dark jeans) and summer (with white jeans).
I couldn’t say no to this little top. I actually spotted it online and rushed to the store in Greenwich to get it before my flight! At this point, I sound like a broken record, but I think I’m almost entirely on #teampants right now. I did buy one holiday dress, but I’ve been wearing pants so much more, and I love it.
But really what could be better than gingham, ruffles, and a bow? Doesn’t get much better than this.
Funnily enough, Danielle (whom I hosted the meet and greet with) wore gingham too as did so many readers/viewers who showed up! We kept taking gingham pics with everyone and loved that we were all #twinning.
I also just have to say how continually impressed I am with Danielle. We first “connected” over email because we had the same math teacher (many years apart, though, haha) and then we met when she came to a meet and greet that I did in my backyard. I feel like I’ve gotten a “big sister” view of her growing up and I’m really just so proud of her. She’s running this full-blown Youtube machine while being a freshman in college and, from experience, I know it can’t be easy, but she does it so well.
I also picked out a few pieces from Kendra Scott to wear to the event. Originally I thought I was going to go with a simple black or gold option, but then I decided something with a little red in it was way more festive! I also got this bracelet to stack with my diamond tennis bracelet that I wear every day.
These sweet girls got Danielle, and I mugs with our initials…. SO thoughtful! And my sixth-grade homeroom teacher/PE teacher brought her daughter who I used to babysit when she was born! So crazy to see everyone growing up.

So cute! But… (and I may be remembering totally incorrectly so take this with a grain of salt) I thought Saturdays were going to be for more affordable posts? And, while totally adorable, a $98 shirt is definitely not what I would consider affordable. Am I remembering the days incorrectly?
I love that you & Danielle did a meet-up, she’s one of my favorite YouTuber’s and I love how successful she’s been!

I have been reading your blog since my freshman year of high school and watching Danielle since later in high school as well (I’m now a senior in college)! It’s so cool to see you two working together! Love both of your gingham!
