One thing I have been much better about doing is eating lunch at home. I think because I work from home, I start to go a little stir crazy and use lunch as an excuse to get out. Eating lunch out starts to get expensive– and unhealthy at times. One thing that helps me is to…
My Bermuda Trip
This is going to be a photo overload post! But I hope you love the photos as much as I do; putting together this post makes me want to hop another flight out to Bermuda again. Speaking of flights, it takes under two hours to get to Bermuda from New York City. It’s a shockingly…
Amanda C. Bee Designs Giveaway
I’ve been following Amanda C. Bee Designs for quite some time. (Since 2012… just looked it up in my inbox!) Her designs are all so unique and adorable. I think she really does capture the fun! We’ve teamed up for a giveaway today of one of her custom portraits, valued at $198. You’ll get a digital…
On My Radar
I am just simply not one of those people that can travel non-stop. Props to you if you’re capable of packing and unpacking and living out of a suitcase and hopping into planes/trains/automobiles. Rinse and repeat. A full week of traveling left me spent, and despite my best efforts to stay on top of work, I…
Ham for a Year
I thought having a dog was the hardest thing ever. And then I got a second dog and realized that there’s always room for a bigger challenge. A year ago, yesterday, Hamilton became Teddy’s little brother. In full transparency, getting a second dog was a pretty big mistake. I had my doubts and lost sleep…
Hamilton Princess Beach Club
When I was invited to stay at the Hamilton Princess in Bermuda, I was most excited about visiting the beaches. The hotel itself isn’t directly on the beach but instead has a private beach club not too far away. Traveling during the “off-season” is always a risk, pretty much wherever you go. On Saturday, the weather ended up being pretty gorgeous. It was a little bit chilly when the wind picked up, but otherwise, it was clear and sunny.
Bermuda Shopping
It’s been years (over 20!) since I had visited Bermuda last. I remember pretty random things since I was so young, but one thing that I absolutely couldn’t forget was the colorful buildings. I think I assumed that I had imagined the sorbet colored buildings as extra charming and was surprised at how accurate my memory was. It’s not that some buildings are cute and colorful– they are all cute and colorful with pops of white here and there.
5 of the Best Time Management Tricks That Actually Help
Since I’ve been traveling for the past week, I’m looking forward to sitting down at my desk and getting everything in my life back in order. I’ve been pretty good at staying on top of things, but I could absolutely use a few days of non-distracted work to make sure nothing is slipping through the…
Bermuda Packing List
I didn’t do a Bermuda packing list post because I honestly wasn’t quite sure what I’d be bringing. I ended up having to pack a bunch of outfits for the last-minute Charleston trip, and I figured whatever I didn’t wear there I could wear in Bermuda.
