I’m back today with two more books. I feel like I just posted about two books to read, so I hope you’re not sick of my recommendations. These two books are AMAZING. I hope you get the chance to read them as soon as possible because they’re that good. I downloaded 10% Happier on a whim. (I…
8 Ways to Celebrate Fresh Summer Produce
I’ve been getting in the habit of going to the grocery store without a list (if you know me, this is huge progress) and sticking to shopping along the perimeters. That is, I skip all the middle aisles and try only to buy fresh food like produce. It’s kind of fun to see what’s in…
An Overall Good Look
Bah! I’m so excited to share this outfit. I tend to stick to my comfort zone when I’m buying clothes, but when I saw this dress I was instantly drawn to it! Even though it’s not what I normally would go for, I feel great in it. I love it so much, in fact, that…
Dream Jobs!
Someone at the park asked me how old Teddy was and I realized that his fourth birthday is just around the corner. As crazy as it is for Teddy to be four (!!!!), it also means that it has been almost four years since I quit my “real” job to run TCP full time. I never intended…
On My Radar
If you’re wondering how my week went, I was thoroughly convinced that it was Friday all day Wednesday! I don’t have any updates for the week. It was one of those “the stars aligned” weeks where I didn’t have any major plans. Instead of a recap, I’d love it if you could leave a comment with…
What’s In My Bag x 5
I love “what’s in my bag” posts. Maybe not the best thing to admit, but I’m a little bit nosy about it. For this, I thought I thought it’d be fun to see how I pack for various events. As you can see, there are a lot of repeats. I strongly dislike repacking and packing purses…
Cutting Back on Caffeine and Sugar
Bah! Guys! I’m cutting back on caffeine and sugar, and it is hard. I decided to do this a couple of months ago, and I’ve been okay with it. Some days are better than others for sure. I decided to cut out caffeine and sugar because I was having too much of both. I would say…
First Day Outfit
Even though I’ve always loved summers, I would get a little antsy for school to start back up. As the days started to grow shorter again, we’d have a few telltale signs that classes were right around the corner. There was the scramble to read those summer reading books that collected dust for two months. The mile-long school supply list and the little postcard with our class schedule that showed up in the mail. Both followed by a four-hour trip to gather said supplies and a frantic call to best friends to ensure that we had the same lunch period!
And my favorite part? The careful selection (and re-selection) of the perfect FDO aka First Day Outfit.
6 Ways to Untether from Devices
Ugh! This is at the very top of my mind lately. Having a smartphone can be a blessing and a curse. I recently went through an iPhone-related-crisis right around the same time that Maxie was too. We both were talking to each other about it and trying to find a good solution. Her tips today are…
