While I love sunny days, I can’t resist a foggy one on Nantucket. It was pretty rainy all day, so we loaded up into our rented Mini Cooper and went on a driving tour of the island. We went from one end to the other and turned down roads as we wished.
As luck would have it, the rain turned to a drizzle as we neared ‘Sconset, so we hopped out to take some photos by Sankaty Light. I think it’s my favorite lighthouse– it’s definitely the most picturesque!

Happy August! I know there’s plenty more of summer left (🙌🏻), but there’s something about the beginning of August that makes the back to school/end of summer feeling come back. Our school always started in the first or second week of August, and I think that has just always stuck with me. This sounds a little strange, but part of me loves riding bikes, and the other part of me is terrified of it. I’ve done more bike riding this year than I think I ever have as an adult, and I have mixed emotions about it. I was reminded of how scary it could be in Paris as we were riding next to traffic and crossing major intersections every thirty seconds. It was not for the faint of the heart.

Sorry for the jump scare… but go ahead and add “great at multitasking” to my resume 😆 is it habit stacking or just survival mode? Every morning, I’ve been doing a red light session with my @omniluxled face mask, while listening to an audiobook, and I spend the 10 minutes tidying up. I make the beds, put laundry away, straighten up the boys’ toys… I always feel on top of the world and like I can do anything 😆
I’ve been hesitant to add new skincare products to my daily routine because I don’t want to disrupt my healthy skin… I tested @oakessentials skincare line though and it’s now a staple in my weekly routine. Yes, I’m an iPad adult now ✌🏻 I have been feeling all over the place with how I stay organized. In a dream world, I’d have a good ole fashioned paper planner, but I need something digital that I can access wherever I am and set alarms and reminders and appointments in my digital calendar. Kicking the new year off with a fresh iPad in the hopes that it helps?? Kind of felt like back to school shopping with fresh school supplies (but more expensive lol)… here’s to an organized twenty twenty five!! 🥂
