INFLUENCED vol. 2

Back again with another round of things I’ve been influenced by recently. I shared the first round this summer and it’s been enough time where I have a little list ready to go for round two.

NEVER HAVE I EVER

Technically not a “thing,” (and I’m going to share more of the shows I’ve recently watched next week), but I HAD to include this one here. Melissa got me hooked on the Netflix show Never Have I Ever. It is so freaking sweet and hilarious. It’s co-created by Mindy Kaling and it’s loosely based on her own childhood growing up as an Indian-American. I was hooked by the second episode.

WEEZIE ROBE

I have seen this robe all over Instagram. I partnered with Weezie recently and I picked out the robe as part of the partnership. The second I put it on, I got the hype. I have quite the collection of robes and this one just makes *sense.* The short sleeves make it sooooo easy to get ready in the morning. It’s great to slip into after a shower or while you’re doing your hair or makeup. 10/10 recommend. (I recommend sizing up one size for comfort– and mine shrunk the tiniest bit in the wash too.)

GUEST ROOM BED

I had been looking for a new bed frame for our guest room and saw that Danielle bought this one for her daughter’s room. It is a great simple bed. It looks so good in the space. It comes in a black and a lovely maple too.

COTTON CASHMERE

Elsa totally convinced me to get these cotton cashmere pieces from J. Crew. I must admit that I’ve been wearing the matching sweatsuit way more than I ever expected. It’s just so comfy and maybe it’s the new mom life, but I just can’t get enough of it. I tried a couple of the styles, but the crewneck and the joggers worked best for me.

KNIT BABY HATS

Sam always puts her kids in the most darling knit hats. I was totally influenced to get a couple for Jack. Let me tell you, they are the cutest things in the world. Jack has giant cheeks and I swear they were made for little knit hats! We’ve had some chilly days here and they’re also functional. The chin straps keep it on his head and the flaps are great for keeping his ears warm.

KETO CUPS

Mike purchased these recently and they are amazingly delicious. I’ve been getting pretty hungry while breastfeeding. I go from feeling totally fine to “all hands on deck I need something to eat now” in a matter of seconds. I started keeping sticks of jerky and these cups in the diaper bag for the hunger emergencies. This flavor tastes like Almond Joys!
