I love that this is a mix of super comfortable outfits and some festive looks. We’ve pretty much locked down here again so… not really doing anything or going anywhere besides taking the dogs for (loooooong) walks and the occasional grocery store run. C’est la vie.
WEEK OF OUTFITS 12.15.20
TUESDAY
As this look may suggest, it was a full comfy day. I’ve been wrapping up end of year projects, gearing up for big things to come in 2021, and finalizing some of the more annoying backend stuff that comes with running a business. (As a one woman show right now, I’ve been flipping between HR, accounting, custodial, and creative directing all within one day.)
WEDNESDAY
We had the most magical snow day! I kept things super cozy for working from home and then went over to my volunteer shift at the food bank.
THURSDAY
These cashmere cardigans are truly becoming one of my favorite pieces. I’m so glad I finally went for the purchase. They’re super soft and lightweight. While they’re great for layering, I’ve been wearing them solo buttoned all the way up!
FRIDAY
Just another day… at home 😆

SATURDAY
Mike and I got the dogs out first thing for an extra long walk. I’m glad we did it early because it turned out to be a pretty gross day. I spent most of the afternoon doing some crafting projects and then we did a driveway, masked visit for my sister in law’s birthday.
SUNDAY
I finally got back behind my sewing machine! It’s been a hot minute. I just whipped up some easy face masks, but it felt fun and festive. I had to run a couple of random errands and then honestly spent the rest of the day on the couch alternating between work and watching TV.

MONDAY
I was so excited for another snow day… while we had some flurries it ended up just being a rainy mess of a day. Nothing exciting beyond working from home, but felt like a festive sweater was called for!
Great post. Look forward to it every week. I like that you post more real life than staged posts. So sorry about the lockdown, but I know that it is necessary to keep people alive. Would love to see more sewing/needlepoint projects. On another note. I reside in South Carolina and officials don’t regard COVID-19 as a threat of human life. It is quite evident by a recent tweet from our Governor at a church in Taylors, SC. He was presenting the Order of Palmetto to an elderly man. No one in the photo was wearing a mask or social distancing. I made a comment to my spouse about the tweet. His response was “must be Baptist”. OMG.
Ugh, Ann. I feel you. I’m in Tennessee, and our governor (with no political experience, a businessman elected on the coattails of Trump) will do NOTHING. It’s infuriating. So now we have the joyful distinction of being the WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD for new Covid cases. LOVELY.
I love the mix between comfort and fashion especially with Christmas sweaters! Super cute!

Carly! These have seriously been my favorite posts. Keep these up, you’re like my walking Pinterest board.
Another great round-up! Crushing on the Alex Mill sweater…added myself to the waitlist. All the sweaters are gorgeous! Do you have any other Alex Mill pieces?
I love these weekly posts, the festive sweaters are my favorite!!!
I always enjoy your weekly outfit posts. Cute outfits always!
