Cultivating and maintaining great friendships is one the most important things you can do in life. These relationships are so valuable. As I work on my friendships (and like all relationships, there is a good amount of work involved), I try to think of the friendships that are working and how I can be a…
Favorite Games
I’m assuming most people are watching the Super Bowl tonight. I am… even though I’m not all that interested in the game, ha. I am excited to be with everyone throughout the day though and rumor has it that we’ll be playing a lot of games. Everyone is pretty competitive and I’m currently on a six-month winning…
Bathing Suit Shopping
I know it’s February, and I know we’re still having below freezing temperatures (at least here in Connecticut). But I tend to find that February is the best time to do bathing suit shopping. This is when inventory is at its peak! Unlike other clothes, in my experience, bathing suits tend to sell out the fastest and…
On My Radar
Hands down, the highlight of my week was Monday! A student from Bronxville High School asked if I wanted to participate in their career day. I try my best to make these things work with my schedule. I almost had a traveling conflict, but that ended up getting canceled. I’m so glad. The students were great….
Valentine’s Day Gifts
Valentine’s Day is starting to feel a little old-fashioned to me. Anyone else? I’m not super into the whole ~romantic~ elements of it, but I do like the pink and sweets. It’s a fun excuse to spoil yourself or show your girlfriends that you really appreciate their friendship.
I had SO much fun putting this together. You guys know I’ve been on a spending freeze! It’s still fun to browse and it makes putting these collages together extra fun.
I LOVE MY AIRPODS
I know that title looks a little dramatic, but honestly? That’s how I genuinely feel about my little AirPods. For years I have been a loyal Bose fan. Nothing beat their noise-canceling headphones and their in-ears. When iPhone ditched the headphone jack, I was fine using a dongle for a while. There were times when I…
Casual Weekend
Now that we’re a month into the year, two themes are emerging for me already. The first is that it’s not selfish to put yourself first. I’ve really been practicing taking care of myself and it’s making me an all-around better person, which allows me to be better for everyone else. (Win/win!) And the second is that I really, really like to dress comfortably.
11 Super Bowl Sunday Eats
I haven’t watched the Super Bowl live in years. (I’m more into the commercials and now they’re all online!) But this year I actually am going to be watching the game (aka the commercials ha) with some friends. Besides the commercials, I also love good football food! 11 Super Bowl Sunday Eats Guest post by…
Tulip Sleeve Tee
I have always been a big fan of a white tee. In fact, I may be one of its biggest supporters. Over the years, I have stocked up on what has to be the most basic, but essential, closet staples. This is my favorite basic short sleeve white t-shirt and this is my favorite long sleeve. With such a simple “base” for an outfit, you can tone up (or down) your accessories for an endless number of looks. Add a blazer or a statement necklace or a vest. Wear with heels or ballet flats or even a comfy pair of sneaks.
