I hope you guys can humor me a little bit here with this post about J. Crew’s new arrivals. I have to give the company a lot of credit. I think they truly took into account brand loyalists’ opinions and feedback about the direction J. Crew had been heading.

There was a period of time when I would walk into J. Crew and walk out empty handed… now that’s near impossible. (In fact, I have to avoid the store altogether when I’m on a tighter budget.)

I lovingly joke that the only thing that gets me through the winters is wearing as much cashmere as possible. You guys know that I’m not the biggest spender when it comes to clothes, but I like quality, classic pieces that I can wear year after year. If I’m buying into something trendier, I’d prefer to find a good deal. But for something I know that will last me a while? I’m okay making more of an investment. That’s how I feel about cashmere. Pricier than a normal sweater, for sure, but so much more luxurious!
