Now that we’re a month into the year, two themes are emerging for me already. The first is that it’s not selfish to put yourself first. I’ve really been practicing taking care of myself and it’s making me an all-around better person, which allows me to be better for everyone else. (Win/win!) And the second is that I really, really like to dress comfortably.
I’ve never been against the athleisure trend, but I never fully embraced it myself. My idea of a comfortable outfit is jeans and a sweater, which I wear like a uniform most days.
I think because I have been spending so much time in the gym now (!!!), the idea of athleisure has really grown on me. It’s more like a way of life or something. Comfortable leggings? An oversized cozy top? Sneakers I can walk fourteen miles in without skipping a beat? Count. Me. In.

Without a doubt, Persifor dresses are my go-to picks for hot days. It’s hard to tell in photographs, but the material is amazing. Halloween 2024 was one for the memory books 🏈 Rory’s first Halloween!! Jack had a blast, Rory loved tagging along, and Mike and I couldn’t stop smiling 🤍 I don’t know how many years I’ll be able to convince the boys to coordinate their costumes so really taking advantage- I bought Jack’s football player costume (customized!) and sewed Rory’s football bubble myself (Jack asked if he could throw him, which was a resounding and firm, “no.”). Now time to raid Jack’s stash 😛
